The 2024 application period for the InTO the Ravines and the Sparking Change microgrants runs from Wednesday, March 13, to Monday, April 22, 2024, at 4:00 PM EST.
Submissions are due by Monday, April 22, 2024, at 4 pm EST. You must submit your application through this online form to apply for the InTO the Ravines and/or the Sparking Change Microgrants. A sample application pdf to prepare your application is available in our Q&A at https://parkpeople.ca/toronto-microgrants-qa.
Microgrant recipients will be announced by the end of May, and events can occur between mid-June and November 1st, 2024.

Groups applying for the Toronto Microgrants are welcome to apply for either or both the Sparking Change and InTO the Ravines Microgrants through this online application form. We prioritize BIPOC and equity-deserving communities in our selection process. Please review the general eligibility guidelines to determine which funding you should apply for.
InTO the Ravines Microgrants:
Who can apply: Any community group interested in or already working in the ravines with communities facing barriers to access ravine spaces.
Requirements:
Groups receiving this funding must host one event between mid-June and November 1st, 2024.
This event must be held on Toronto's publicly accessible lands, designated ravines or overlook ravines, green spaces or parks.
This event should be free and open to all.
Your event should focus on connecting, celebrating, or championing Toronto’s ravines.
Your event should not include any form of direct stewardship, such as tree planting or invasive plant removal.
Sparking Change Microgrants:
Who can apply? Community groups include park friends groups, neighbourhood associations, nonprofits, artists and other collectives. Your group doesn’t need to be a registered non-profit or require a trustee to apply. We prioritize BIPOC and equity-deserving communities in our selection process.
Requirements:
Groups receiving this funding must host one event before November 1st, 2024.
This event can happen in any park or greenspace in Toronto.
This event should be free and open to all.
